I Am in Jesus and Am His Disciple
The word abide is used by John thirteen times in his gospel and in his three epistles.
John 8:31-32 (ESV)
Abiding in the word of Jesus leads to:
Us really being His disciples
Us knowing the truth and being made free
Abiding is the word of Jesus is not just:
Reading It
Studying It
Knowing It
Abiding means living based on it.
A disciple is a learner who takes what they have learned and then lives based on what they have learned.
